rejected.

I’ll post stats later.

I feel like I’ve been punched in the stomach. I just thought that U of Chicago would actually be the one college that could look past not-so-great test scores and see that I’m still a student who has made something of themselves. Oh well…University of California here I come!

At least I won’t have to buy thermal underwear, eh?

accepted. f yeah!

I got in too. I am so glad. Last school I was waiting on. This college season is the most nerve-wracking ever.

i was rejected, and i’m pretty sure it was because i had to apply as an international student, because otherwise i was pretty competitive. i got into dartmouth, though, which is good, even though i’m probably much closer to the stereotypical chicago student than the stereotypical dartmouth student.

Let’s try to keep all the results in the same thread (i.e. not in this one).

yeah, but i’m not doing the stats thing right now, because i’m honestly not in the mood to think about any of that tonight.

Sorry you didn’t get into Princeton. I’m sure things will turn out well for you in the end.

thanks, weasel… i think so, too, but i’m a mess tonight and sort of unapologetic about it. it’s funny – i wrote my entire common app essay about how i’d learned to cope with uncertainty, but now the certainty is what’s really killing me.

Accepted! Thank God… the Ivies didn’t take pity and I’m looking forward to going to UChicago ('cept that Columbia waitlisted me… those evil people).

I’m so relieved about UChi!

I was accepted, and I vote that everyone here uses the “Official University of Chicago Resluts Thread” instead. Not really. But I’ll follow up with stats later, when I’m not exhausted.

And cameliasinsis, I’m so sorry you didn’t get in, but I’m sure you’ll have a great time at Dartmouth anyway. I would have loved to go to school with you.
