Rejected EA but totally expected it. Congrats to everyone that got in though!

My friend just got in ED! So happy for him!!!

My son was deferred EA. 35 ACT, 4.0 UWGPA, Great EC, sports, study abroad, etc.

I got deferred EA. Onto March my friends!

ED accepted!

Deferred thru EA, pretty good stats, decent ECs

Does anyone know what percent of EA gets deferred?

My son got ED Rejected. Kind of shocked

National AP Scholar

Class rank: Top 5 out 900 in a public school that does not rank
Decent extra curricular activities.

Daughter also not accepted. Ice cream for us all…

Good luck to everyone who got deferred, keep your hopes up!

Yay! Me too!

@Cook657 I know how you are feeling. Very similar background and got a complete rejection not even deferred.

My son just got accepted ED. Pray for everyone who needs to wait for RD. Also pray for every family who is supporting your kid in this critical time. You are all be good regardless which college you are going! After first job, no one care which college you graduate. Good luck!

do you mind sharing your stats?

do you mind sharing your stats?

accepted ED! I got a likely letter months ago because I’m a recruited athlete but
ACT: 35
GPA: 4.56
SAT II: 800 Math 2, 750 US History
diverse ECs (sports, volunteering, political involvement), captain of team 2 years, great relationships with teachers who wrote recs, pretty good essays

deferred, 36, 3.95 incredible ECs. EA is clearly meant for only specific class of kids.

Rejected. Knew it was a super reach, and I got into another school that I really love anyways  Congrats on everyone accepted and good luck to those of you deferred!

Considering the deferral acceptance rate was 0.5% in 2018, congrats to the 3 deferrals that get accepted in March.
