<p>Okay. I was told that my letter was both “frank” and “honest”, and that it would be shared with the admissions committee. </p>
<p>My email server glitched and sent my email when I was halfway done with it. I sent a completed follow-up one a few minutes later that included an apology for the incomplete email, and my admissions rep replied saying that those things happen and it’s okay blah blah blah would add my email to my file.</p>
<p>Around 167 hours until those of us who were deferred get a bit of closure. </p>
<p>yay closure! i’m so nervous and to top it off i have a chemistry test that day :(</p>

I know this is unrealistic, but I seriously hope we all get good news. And I’m not just saying that to be polite, I really mean it. We all deserve it.</p>

<p>@ironchariot I have an exam too! In fact, the decisions are put up before my exam. I’m planning on not checking till its over. But that’ll be so hard.</p>

I’m gonna be at a MUN Conference when they come out so yolo</p>
<p>I’m going to wait until midnight on March 15th to check because that’s when my UC Santa Cruz decision comes out and I want a little ego boost first. Also, I don’t want to potentially ruin my birthday.</p>

<p>Well, I’ve stayed away from this thread since getting deferred, but no point now! Good luck tomorrow everyone! No matter what happens tomorrow, I’m sure we’re all going to end up at amazing schools that we will love - UChicago or not. :)</p>
