UChicago - Essay Readers - Prompt 1: "At present you need to live the question"

<p>Hi people. I am applying for University of Chicago Early Action. I just got done with my essay to Prompt # 1. And I need some readers to tell me my mistakes and other stuff.</p>

<p>Please note that I am a very bad writer but very good at grammar and punctuation etc. Please tell me if anything is unclear or if I can improve any part of the essay or if the essay responds to the question well and if it doesn’t, could it be considered for Prompt # 5.</p>

<p>Here is the Prompt:

Choose one of the five extended essay options and write a one- or two-page response. This is your chance to speak to us and our chance to listen as you tell us about yourself, your tastes, and your ambitions. Each topic can be addressed with utter seriousness, complete fancy, or something in between - it is your choice. Play, analyze (don’t agonize), create, compose - let us hear the result of your thinking about something that interests you, in a voice that is your own.</p>

<p>Please note that I will need some kind of proof so that I know you will not copy my essay. I will go through some of your other posts to check if you are already in another college and you are not applying for the first time.</p>

<p>I would really appreciate your help. I really REALLY want to go to UChicago. I have a friend who is already there and I have a couple of other friends in Chicago and from what I’ve read, Chicago is the best school for me.</p>
