<p>I was interested in the UChicago language program and was wondering whether it was worth it. I’m currently in French 4 and Spanish 2, but I’m also interested in Japanese I. Which language should I pick? Also, would participating in this program help me on my app even if I plan on taking pre-pharm or pre-dentistry?</p>
<p>S did both Middlebury and UChicago. Middlebury’s immersion program did great things for his French when he got back to school in the fall. At Chicago, there was a big to-do because some RAs (!) helped some students get alcohol and… nuff said.</p>
<p>@smythic, did S say that people actually did not speak English? I did Concordia, and people rarely spoke Spanish… what a shame.</p>
