Chicago rejects EA.

You never know…she’s lied about everything else.

I highly doubt that Grace has “lied” about such things as all acceptances going out first, and I know for a fact that Chicago rejects EA because I saw it last year with my own EA class (I was not rejected, but many were). Remember, remember, remember, she is NOT an admissions councilor and she is NOT a member of any adcom. She has no say whatsoever in what goes on behind closed doors, she has no hand in your decision-making. She’s a current undergrad volunteer who works as part of a committee that liaises with prospective UChicago students. Why would she bother to lie to you guys about these things? To protect Chicago’s image? If there was a correlation between wait and deferral/rejection, I’m willing to bet money that it was an unintentional server glitch and not Chicago being passive-aggressive.

What incentive does Grace have to lie about anything? She is simply a student volunteer. While trends may indicate that acceptances were sent out first, there were definitely a few rejections that came out right at 4pm EST.

I understand bitterness and frustration over admissions decisions, but I will not stand for taking out that frustration on someone who volunteers their time and has been so helpful to us thus far.

guys…my advice is to not stress over this…getting ur acceptance letter is not 1st come 1st serve…u should sleep…wake up and check
