<p>Im thinking of transfering from uchicago to columbia FU Foundation. Anyone had experience transferring from quarter systems? do they want our autumn plus winter grades or only autumn. plz help. Also, how do i go about asking the dean for rec. she doesn’t even know me.</p>
<p>You would have to give your whole transcript–whatever is the latest up to the time of your application.</p>
<p>If the dean doesn’t know you, ask her to just let you give a notice that you are at “good standing.” that’s what other colleges want to see. The rec’s should be from people who know–look at teachers that you’ve had very good relationships with.</p>
