UChicago RD Decision Date: March 23, 2012

@skittles, just roll with it! And I’m sure your essays are better than you remember. I remember being embarassed by my MIT essays, but after looking back at them, I’m damn proud of that work, even if it didn’t help me get in.

and merryli, you might’ve just forgotten which password you used. There shouldn’t be any problem.

@merryli: yup, the site is experiencing some pretty heavy traffic right now… no surprise there lol

I guess my acceptance letter says, “Due to high demand, this website is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.” :)

Edit: Accepted!

@zach12: ME TOO! It is so frustrating because every time I try to log in, I hold my breath, waiting for the decision to pop up. Instead, I am informed there’s too many other frantic applicants trying to log in simultaneously! Best of luck. There is still hope because we don’t know our decision yet.

Waitlisted. Sigh.

I’m an international requesting FA, so I guess it was already a hiiiiiigh reach. Even though it’s not an outright rejection it sure as hell isn’t much of a consolation.

Waitlisted. Crying right now, but will get better tomorrow.

It’s my birthday, yallllll. This has been HELLA awesome!

Rejected - International needing FA so i guess the usual?

Waitlisted. Ugh.

Anyone have any estimates on the size of the waitlist?

Why are there so many on the waitlist? Is this normal?

Any estimation on the number of accepted vs the number of waitlisted?

ACCEPTED! What up! Feeling good and on a roll, no rejections yet (hopefully it stays that way)

An international waitlisted !!

Ahhhh accepted!!! So damn’ thrilled! (Curious to note, however, that I was waitlisted at George Washington University)

Waitlisted! Success! I’ve already enrolled somewhere else, so I just wanted to see if I could get in. (Yeah, I know I didn’t really, but I also didn’t get rejected)

Waitlisted.

Accepted! Congrats to others who were accepted

Wait listed :(

International student here,

Waitlisted. Not the best of news, but also not the worst. I’m strangely ok with it, if not in terms of expected outcome (not really expecting to get in) I’m happy that they at least see me worthy enough to go there.

Hopefully a more fruitful two weeks ahead, and congrats to all accepted!

Why are there so many wait lists, its never like this. Are people misreading the letter or something?
