<p>-Academic Decathlon competitor 10th-12th grade, captain 11th and 12th. Number four ranked scholastic (first on my team) in the state of Arizona. Team took fourth in the state (Arizona is the third most competititve AcDec state, behind CA and TX) and in the top 50 round 3 scores in the nation.
-President and Founder of Young Democrats of Arizona chapter at my high school my senior year
-President of our school’s gifted organization, a club of 300+ members, Secretary 11th grade, Community Service Coordinator 10th grade.
-Competitor in the Science Olympiad all four years, and team treasurer 11th and 12th grade.
-Competitor and founding member of my school’s Speech and Debate team, competed in Lincoln Douglass and Public Forum Debate 9th and 10th grade, serving as treasurer in 10th grade.

<p>My essays are generally pretty good, and my interviews are excellent. I’m applying to the ASU Honors College and the University of Toronto as back-up schools. I’ve displayed a lot of interest in some of these to the school, especially UChicago and Northwestern (which I’ve visited).</p>
