I tagged with Irvine with a 3.5 for Business Econ but I failed my Calc 1 class and I’m retaking it this semester now(concurrently with Calc 2). I sent them an update to tell them that and it shouldn’t be any problem for me to pass again since I had a major family medical problem last semester. I was still rejected, and I don’t know if it is because of that. Any ideas?</p>

I think that may be why your tag was rejected. I wanted to tag to irvine but I wasn’t able to because my transferrable math was not done before fall. I think they are pick about when the math is done.</p>
<p>@ PerfectSky: no, Davis does not. All they have are Chinese and Japanese. Only UCI, UCB, UCSD, and UCR offer Korean language courses.</p>
<p>for a UC to accept a math credit, does it have to be one of the math classes from the IGETC or do they accept any math credit that is UC transferable for admission?</p>

<p>I updated my schedule on April 25 telling them that I added 3 psych classes for summer 2011. I got in yesterday night. I don’t think it should be a problem. I even got an email from the counselor saying “thanks.”</p>

<p>@ neverland … since psych doesn’t have any required pre reqs, only recommended ones, I think you’re still okay with taking some Psych courses over the summer. I think the only issues they have with summer courses are IGETC classes, specifically math/english. I was told if I failed STATS this semester I would not be able to take it over the summer. Thank god I’m kicking ass in the class. (Teehee I rhymed!) Anyways I think you should be fine!</p>
