<p>Don’t give up yet! I saw one poster who got in with a 3.0! (I have a low gpa -psych major too) I am trying to convince myself that if we were all rejected we already would have been with the mass rejections.</p>

<p>@kokonutz, I’ve got a 3.55, but I’m also trying to transfer from Cal Poly, which explains the lateness.</p>
<p>Maybe I’m just being pessimistic. They did say it was random…still kinda doubt that one though…</p>

<p>I’m almost positive that admissions made a mistake when reviewing my application/ rejecting me, because I definitely qualify for TAG. I finished all the TAG requirements for my major by spring of last year; I’m just taking assist-recommended classes this year since I was rejected last year (I hadn’t finished the required transferable math class in time to qualify for last year’s TAG). Hopefully I can get it sorted out over the phone without having to go through the process of appealing (assuming they were the ones who made the mistake).</p>

<p>(But if worst comes to worst, I was accepted to UCSD, so I’ll just go there. I already live in Irvine, though…)</p>

<p>Not me. Mine still says “your financial aid is completed and will be distributed shortly” or something along those lines. </p>

<p>I am a CS major with a 3.2 GPA waiting for UCI and I was just curious as to how many of you guys waiting are also CS majors and what your GPAs are.</p>

<p>I’m a math major with a 3.2 overall but 3.8 in major prep. I’ve also attended a cal state and have a lot of units–UCI is pretty much my only shot at a UC. At least until grad school.</p>
<p>Did anyone else have their financial aid mssg change from ‘we’ll be posting in mid to late april’ to ‘we expect to have your financial aid award shortly’? Can’t tell if its a hopeful sign or they just changed their standard message.</p>

I am a little torn, because every time I login into the myadmissions webpage my heart almost stops, so I am kinda of waiting for you guys to tell me of new batches being released.
They have do it soon, right?</p>
<p>About the GPA discussion, I wish I could tell you exactly what mine is… for cc classes mine is 4.0, however I have classes completed abroad, which God knows if they will transfer or not, so that could bring my GPA down a little… maybe to 3.5 or 3.6 depending on which ones (if any) are considered transferable.</p>
<p>I get that feeling every time I check too. I swear sometimes I psysh myself out and when it takes longer to load, I think something has changed but nope. Do you guys think a bunch will come out tonight?</p>
