Anyone know what’s the minimum GPA requirement for School of Humanities majors?

What the. Says no under graduate application available on zotportal but nothing on website

I believe their website said something about being usually above 3.0 but encouraging all people with gpa over 2.8 to apply

What is thtat zotportal?
We should get decisions through myadmission right?

Weird. Just went back to being evaluated

sweetlacecharm, I got into the School of Humanities with a 2.98-3.0, with IGETC completed at the end of this spring.

Is it harder to transfer from a UC to another UC? I go to a community college and I only got accepted to UCR so far. If I don’t make it to UCI, should I stay another year at a CC or just go to UCR then transfer? What to do …it’s going to be my fourth year at a CC if I do stay.

Moosedog, so my personal statements probably just sucked? ):

@koko
Mine does that all the time. I don’t think it means anything.

@StateOfMind
It is very much harder to transfer UC to UC.
If I don’t get into Irvine, I’m going to Riverside too.
I don’t think I can go through all of this again and risk not being accepted anywhere next year, when it gets more rigorous. :/

Wow …I just lost all hope :/

If youre okay with UCR then go to UCR and finish there. It’s a good school. If you really want Irvine then stay another year in cc before trying again. I’d recommend just going to UCR.

Hey, you don’t even know if you got into UCI or not yet!!
Don’t lose hope. UCR is better than nothing. Some people probably didn’t get accepted anywhere.
I’m only a two year transfer and I can’t wait to get the hell out of here. I honestly can’t imagine 4 years. :x

Yeah …which school is better, CSULB or UCR? Lol

Ambrosial, I’m not sure how significant the personal statement is, but for mine, I didn’t even get it proofread or anything. I just talked about my life and why I choose to study history.

I would say about equal. I can testify to how much it sucks to live in riverside, though.
