Has anyone been waitlisted yet?
I was thinking that UCI would be released with UC Berkeley on Friday… the UCs have been pretty unpredictable with their release dates this year
@911Yellow Yeah… except for UCLA, everyone’s basically just been waffling without releasing at a specific time.
It was interesting to see that UCLA was released officially before UCI, considering UCLA usually is “saved until the end” with Berkeley

@911Yellow First of all, UCB is gonna is released Thursday. Secondly, UCI is very likely to release waitlists tonight at 8pm as that as when they released waitlists last year. Rejections will probably be Wednesday.
@Mo11ymac is there no possibility of an acceptance at this point?
@musiclover5 this is all based on last year. We don’t know for sure if this year matches up. We’ll just have to wait and see 
keep ur head up, either way we have to wait for a decision
@Mo11ymac i don’t think waitlists will be tonight because last year there were acceptances throughout the weekend and monday morning but this year no one got anything yesterday or this morning. there are also way too little acceptances on this thread and reddit for it to be finished.
@musiclover5 Idk, I’m just an anxious applicant losing hope. Maybe, we’ll get lucky and they’ll release more acceptances tonight, but I’ve kinda prepared myself for a waitlist or rejection at this point
To the people saying that only waitlists will be released today: most likely not true. I know a lot of people who have applied to UCI and only one of them I know heard back, and they were accepted. So I hope nobody feels worried about being waitlisted- I bet there will be batches of acceptances!

considering there was no news on sunday, i think the acceptances are rolling and we cannot determinate whether they are separating the types of decisions on certain days. like @TheMarmoset said, we have to wait and see for our decision. Be patient
also, a lot of people in my school haven’t heard back yet only two people i know heard back and they got accepted into biological sciences
im pretty sure that the acceptances are not by major (reddit is false)- another friend of mine applied to bio and hasn’t hear back yet
