I heard from a friend that they are gonna release on Thursday.
My S hasn’t heard anything. He applied for computer game science. He has one friend who was already accepted for computer game science and two friends that actually received rejections. Good luck to everyone.

UCI Admission decisions 2023 ARE THEY STILL RELEASING ACCEPTANCE OR IS IT OVER?
i think mesudo meant 75th percentile of nation stats. i think UCI’s mid range was 1310 last year. and i agree that anything over 1200 is great.
@Megg1997 same here. S applied computer game Science. Haven’t heard anything yet. Accepted Michigan State, Chico State. Rejected USC. Wait list UCSC. Fingers crossed!

My S was accepted to UCR, SDSU, and Cal State San Marcos. Waitlisted at UCSD. Rejected: USC and UCLA

Wth is wrong with UCI? Why can’t they just be normal like the other UC?

I too have given up hope, but having visited both UCR and UCI, my son was learning towards UCR. UCR has already accepted him, but we felt ,on visitation, it felt more of a supportive environment than UCI.
It could be worse. Cal Poly rolled out acceptances over three weeks before the rejections rolled out on Friday.
Who knows maybe they are just waiting for people to send in their SIRs early that way they can do better estimates than they did the year they had to rescind offers.

Campus closed Friday for Cesar Chavez Holiday so I really hope the rest of these come out soon. I am leaving Thursday morning on a trip so getting a good decision tomorrow or Wednesday would mean a lot to me, and I am sure there are a lot of people who would be proud to have waited and defying all odds get accepted because for many this is their dream school.

So here’s my stats.
I have a gpa of 3.72 (4.28 on a 5.0 scale), and a uc gpa of 4.12
I received a 1350 on my sat, and took approx 8 aps throughout my hs career. I also received 3s or higher on every test.
I would say that my ECs were 9/10, and my essays were also pretty solid
I still haven’t heard back from UCI for biological sciences. Does anyone know what’s going on?
I heard that most acceptances are already out, and that the remaining are mostly rejections or wait lists.
I thought it would be possible for me to get into uci, but I’m not so sure now
