good EC’s & good ECs related to cs
primary major - Computer Science
Secondary Major - Data Science

Waiting: UCB (unlikely)
How is it possible that I got accepted at UCSD for Data Science but get straight up rejected at UCI?
Still nothing for me
previously i had mentioned in previous posts that - someone in reddit got accepted today for business economics
so there is still hope!
waitlisted to ucla, ucsb, uci, and ucsd. do i have a chance to get into any of these???
I haven’t seen anything for regular economics. Just one post quite a while ago. Where are the Econ majors?!
Lots of business econ
anyone hear about political science?
@littlea24 yes, people I know have been getting accepted/ waitlisted into political science
Has anyone heard about international studies??
@FlyYellow
My D has a 4.1 GPA and 1450 SAT. Tons of extra C urriculars related to her major and was waitlisted to UCD rejected from UCSD, and looks like rejected at UCI. She comes from a competitive private high school. Why is it so hard for competitive high schools
anyone know people accepted to data science on fridays/saturdays batch of acceptances?
when will the next wave start???
waitlisted today, but already accepted to ucla
waitlisted today

My s got one @Eduardozakrin233(email)
@Rainforest1213 I’m going to be honest with you, if someone here already got waitlisted to data science, it is likely they already released the acceptances. This forum is nowhere near representative of the applicant pool, so it’s possible that very few data science applicants are on this forum. They seem to be following last year’s trend of releasing acceptances, waitlists, then rejections. To the people who called the admissions office, they are, more likely than not, trained to not release what kind of decisions are being released.
