<p>My friend got accepted to UCI business econ and ucsd economics (minor in accounting) and she’s wondering which one she should go to if she wants to be an accountant? whats the ranking and which one is more prestige? (Does ranking matter tho??? cuz I personally think its just undergrad+ both of them are about the same (kind of?)</p>
<p>Both schools are fine. Just go where your friend is going to be happiest.</p>
<p>I think school prestige matters less for accounting. As long as the school is accredited by like the national accounting board and offers enough accounting classes to qualify them to take the CPA. I would tell her to go to whichever school she likes the best.</p>
