**UCI Class of 2018 Official Decisions Thread**

@helloxsarah I keep checking my portal like every 5 minutes

Rejected, applied for Business Administration, which might have been a reason.
SAT 2200
UC GPA 3.6
National Merit Scholarship Finalist (Semifinalist when I applied)

Got into UC Davis and UCR for UCs, Fordham and St. John’s with full scholarship. Waitlisted for UCSD.
I was kind of surprised when I was rejected, to be honest.

Still no decision… WTH UCI

^ that makes sense. Ugh but does UCI really need to torture us like this? I feel like i’m running through a field of landmines.

[ /list][ b]General Comments:[ /b]
I’m much smarter than my GPA and academic course load would suggest. That shone through in my essay and my SAT score was good with no studying whatsoever. Maybe getting into UCI isn’t really that hard. Most of the people’s info I have read really shows how hard they tried and how much time they wasted to get accepted into UCI. Kids in high school waste 4 of their best years in life preparing to prepare for their careers. School and learning is great, but they should not completely consume a student’s life when they should be enjoying their carefree years having some fun and developing some meaningful relationships with friends and beginning to date in order to build some long lasting confidence which is an extraordinarily useful tool in life. That’s just my opinion and I had to let it out in this little rant.
