Agree.
I’m 99% sure that I’ve been rejected. I just want them to hurry up and cofirm it already…UCI was my top choice :((
@jenjen182 210% agree. I wonder who came up with this rolling admission process…
Does anyone know if Biology/Education is a hard major to get into? I know Biology in general is hard/competitive but what about the one with education? Is it really competitive as well or unpopular?
Did anyone get admitted to physics major? I saw a bunch of other physical sciences accpetences but haven’t seen any physics one on the thread (probably it’s just I missed it) ucsb and uci are my top choices but I don’t think I’m getting into either one…
Is it just me or is anyone else considering the community college route?
@icurryx3 idk m8. I’m really looking for UCI but i have UCR and UCSC as well. Are those really not worth it?
What else have you gotten so far?
@dafishisdelish I cannot dorm due to personal reasons but I was rejected at UCLA and UCSD and waitlisted at UCSC. I mean, many people think UCR and UCSC are the lower UC’s but it’s up to you. I really wanted UCI and nothing came so I assume it’s bad… So why not go to community college, save tons of money, and go to UCI?
@icurryx3 I’m with you thats my plan going to community if I’m rejected by uci
@plzacceptme1 Haha I can tell by your username. Where are you located and what major and stats did you apply with?
@icurryx3 @dafishisdelish I never thought it was good to settle for a school you’re unhappy with. Although UCR and UCSC are wonderful schools, I feel it’s important to go somewhere you would love and are proud of attending. CC is a great choice, and it really does save tons of money. I had a 2.5 GPA in high school, got into a few CSU’s that weren’t even that big. I was so afraid of looking bad, I wanted to go anyway. But I’m so glad I went to a CC, I now have a 4.0, just got a crazy scholarship to UCSD last week (early admission too), and saved tons of tuition money and now I KNOW I’m going to be proud of where I choose to SIR once transfer admits come out. It’s a second chance to go for UCI again if you don’t make it the first time around, but good luck to you both. I hope you come to terms with your decision for your future schools!
This really sucks
@icurryx3 Im instate.
major: bio
sat(new): 1300
GPA: 4.1 for UCs
@plzacceptme1 Dang nice, I see you worked hard. It’s okay brotha you’re better off saving tons of money going to cc. UCI is missing out on a great student but sucks for them. I’m sure you’ll get better schools than UCI through cc.
I’m considering the same route as you both tbh if I don’t get in.
@icurryx3 I’m sure you’ve worked hard too. good luck to you! I hope we can get in.
yay not alone @EquinoxVoid @icurryx3
@EquinoxVoid @plzacceptme1 Which community college would you guys go to? I mean which one is closest to you guys?
Probably IVC hbu? @icurryx3
Yeah you’re definitely not alone it’s been a pretty stressful last few days but I’ve learned to accept it (for lack of a better word lol) @plzacceptme1
