UCI Econ vs UCI Bus Econ

i got in as Econ major but i am considering a change in major to bus econ

which one is better suited for MBA in the future?

Doesn’t matter. Probably bus econ for the accounting classes.

econ is the default “easy” major
biz econ is basically econ + accounting.
quant econ is… statistics with econ on the side.

Biz econ is not biz + accounting at uci. Biz econ only requires only 1 accounting class. The only differences between econ and bizecon is like 3 more classes and “forced” business/management econ electives. With plain econ alone it is just less classes and more flexibility with electives.

Any major is fine for MBA.
