guys, I’m a bit confused.
I am a UC TO UC transfer (junior). I finished all of 90 units but when I submitted my UCapps, I could only submit my fall grades and my winter courses. Is this correct?
When I went on my UC application, it says “You have indicated that you are applying as a Junior level transfer student. The number of units you’ve reported 53 quarter units) does not meet the minimum required for the level you selected. The minimum number of units required for your level is 90 quarter units”
After this quarter I have 90 units, but I didn’t update or submit it.
I didn’t submit my winter course grades because I wasn’t going to get it until April and I didn’t update and say what courses I am taking this quarter.
Will this ruin my chances? Please let me know guys.
I’m confused because it says online:
Does UCI need my transcripts?
Not immediately. First, we will evaluate your application based on the information you provided on your application. Then, if you are offered admission to UC Irvine, you will be asked to have official copies of your transcripts sent to us by the deadline date. All transcripts must be official, sealed by the appropriate school and must arrive to UC Irvine unopened.
Does UCI need my fall semester grades or work planned for spring semester (work in progress)?
UC Irvine does not routinely ask for fall semester grades or work planned for spring semester; however, if this information is needed in order to make an admissions decision, the counselor evaluating your records will request it. If you have earned grades of less than “C” in an A-G subject (freshman) or in any transferable course in the fall semester, or have changed your schedule for the spring semester, it would expedite the review of your application to send this information as soon as possible.
@Klasick gpa is 3.92 but all from an out of state school except my calc 2 class. i did not TAG
@jteng007 from what I remember you were supposed to update your fall/winter grades and spring classes back in January. I’m not to sure on the matter but this may be a problem since uci would see this as you’re not qualified unit wise to transfer yet. Try contacting them asap
It’s Monday, good luck everyone!
Have any business administration majors received an admission decision yet? I’m starting to get anxious
Still waiting on Econ here
Anyone a public health science major still waiting?
@jazzdancer95 Me, losing hope already.
@jazzdancer95 Me 8-|
I called admissions again this morning. They confirmed that not all acceptances have gone out yet and to expect decisions through the next 3 days. Think positive
Knowing that is such a releif @ohwow1
Any criminology majors who have been admitted yet?
@UCI6288 no not yet
I talked to someone in ADMISSIONS today
I asked if there would be any decisions today
She said, “within the next 3 days.”
Then I said ,“okay thank you, so what that means is the there is a 95% chance we are not getting anything today?”
She said, “yeah most likely the 30th you’ll get something.”
So sorry to rain on everybody’s parade BUT LOOKS LIKE WE ARE NOT GETTING ANYTHING TODAY. :c
