Hey guys did anyone from UC TO UC transfer, submit their winter grades or spring classes?
I only submitted my fall grades and winter courses during the TAU deadline of Jan 31st.
I couldn’t enter my winter grades because I didn’t take the quarter yet or my spring classes.
Well we dont know yet…on friday they didnt start releasing acceptance letters till around 3ish no?
Just spoke with someone in admissions, wasn’t able to tell me whether it’s all waitlist and rejections or if there are still acceptances going out, but did say that there may be some notifications this evening.
I’m still really annoyed UCI hasn’t released any financial aid award info yet. Does anyone know about this? Mine says it’s been processed and award info will be published early May. Seriously? -______-
There is no way admissions are done. There were hardly any posts of people being admitted
I would think there’s probably still many acceptances to go given how late the notifications started this year as opposed to last year, still only speculation but I agree @UCI6288

i did, i got in about 3 days ago
my gpa i think was 2.95
i have everything completed
work experience
family issues, made my personal statement awesome.
I’m going to have an associates by the fall
lots of community services as well

@uciCJ33 Do you know anyone else who got in? I don’t get why I haven’t heard back. I have a 3.6, everything completed and I got my AA . So

@UCI6288 I honestly have no idea why I got in and my friend did not. I believed he had a higher gpa than me and his essay was better than mine as well (in my opinion). I first attended Cal Poly SLO back in 2012 then transferred to my local cc that was the only big difference between us. Bright side is that our major isn’t impacted and the majority of people applying to UCI are for science major.
@uciCJ33 Your friend was already rejected? My Alt Major is Criminology and my GPA is at a 3.05. You gave me some hope!!
@CancelOut sorry let me clarify, no he was not rejected, he just never received anything yet. Still waiting on the rest of the decisions to come out.
@uciCJ33 not to be rude but are you sure your UC GPA was a 2.95? I ask this because on UCI’s site, the school of ecology needs at least a 3.0 cumulative UC GPA.
@CancelOut No I’m not a 100% sure. My councilor did it by hand, I have grades from both semester and quarter so to get the UC transferable gpa you had to do a different equation. If that is the case then I did receive a 3.0; point being my gpa barely made it.
@kayleyvu Also a business admin major, 3.7 gpa but i heard that was very low I can only pray to all the existing and nonexistent gods now.
@uciCJ33 you were accepted as ecology? I applied with ecology but haven’t heard back yet! Have pre reqs igetc ECs and 3.42 gpa
