I’m a Psychology and Social Behavior major too!! My GPA is a 3.46 I will have all the major pre-reqs completed by this spring semester. Anxiously waiting to hear back from UCI, as it is my first choice! 
I was accepted to UCSB and waitlisted at UCSD. UCI sent me a supplemental application to complete at the beginning of April, did anyone else receive this?!

I do hope it comes out today… but I think that the later it is the more likely it will either be waitlist offers or rejection letters 
@taffylaffy Feeling anxious, I called up to admissions and records, and the gentlemen I spoke with explained that admission letters are continuously sent out until May 1. Essentially, it’s just gonna be hit or miss. Good luck everyone.

UCI is taking ridiculously long.
I got into LA, SD, and SB but its odd why UCI takes a lifetime to release their decisions. I mean if LA who get \s the most apps can finish, whats the hold up?
@jaxtransfer To be clear, he did not specify or go into detail, which was quite annoying. He just asserted that it is a guessing game, and they will continue to release acceptance letters all the way till May. This answer can be interpreted in numerous ways. First, when he mentioned that UCI is sending acceptance letters throughout April, these letters might pertain to honors and regents (highly possible). Therefore, there is probability that regular admissions are still in the process of being dispersed. Because this wait is killing me as well, I have tried searching around on the internet for blogs that show updates. Ms. Sunsblog, highly reputable, did not have any information that was available on transfer admission notices for UCI. I am not sure if you read the blog post on the anteater website, but they received 7% more applications than last year. While this does not explain the long delay, at least there is still hope for all of us.
i think they just try to take chances to reconsider the applicants that got declined from other UC’s

On a positive note, if you check the UCI admission twitter feed, UCI did not start releasing freshman acceptances until after march 20th. So if that’s any type of an indicator, maybe they will start today and go through the end of month. Cross your fingers!!

I find this a bit odd that a majority of us haven’t got a decision yet but one person on this thread was admitted on 4/17.
Hello Guys! I am also a Psychology major and haven’t heard back from UCI yet. I got waitlisted from UCLA, so hopefully will be admitted to UCI. Fingers crossed 
UCI admissions posted on Facebook that decisions will start going out later this week and on. That guy who said he got admitted was not talking about UCI I think he was just in the wrong thread
