UCI student wants out of Orange County.

Hello Everyone,

Here is my tale. I grew up in Orange County, attended Saddleback College, and transfered to UC Irvine. Unfortunately for me the enviornment in which I grew up with has seemed to spawn a malfesiant group of drug dealers, felons, and violent offenders. As you can see I never hung around the cast of "Laguna Beach" but rather the riff raff of the coast. As of late, things have been growing incresingly dangerous for me in Orange County as several old "friends" have been released from prison. Long story short, I would love to get out of Orange County and UC irvine as soon as possible. Does any one out there have any idea if the circumstances of which I'm under would warrant an intercampus transfer or even possibly an out of state one? Thanks everyone for there time.

yes, UC Irvine is in a very dangerous location.

I completely empathize with you.

don't put your school location on facebook, and cut ties with people, problem solved.

I agree, that is no place to be. UCI is full of dangerous korean rappers.

If I recall correctly, cc to uc transfers have a better chance than uc to uc transfers, but most people who do that want to transfer to a higher-rankked UC. I am not sure if its as hard if you want to transfer to a "lower" UC...whiich uc do u want to transfer to?

uve lived in a sheltered environment if u think irvine is a dangerous place because its a fact that its one of the safest places in the world.... unless u dont actually live in irvine and commute

Someone is on the waitlist...

the most dangerous thing in Irvine would be mediocre asian drivers.
that's about it. That's the only thing I fear over there.

LOL. What in the world... this has got to be a joke.

its also full of b-boy dancers ...... wretched scum of the world

this post sounds like BS but if it isn't:

well according to your only other post on cc you should be a senior- history major @ UcI.. With your transfer gpa was a 3.34 and given the fact that you are a senior your chances of transferring are slim to none. Your best bet is to live on campus and stay in the library & finish your degree b4 you decide to run from your "friends."

One thing, you get to choose your friends... Also, I doubt your prison friends are going to be up for hanging around Uci.. I've been to Uci & it is pretty boring so I can't see a bunch of riff raff wanting to hang there...

good luck.

HAHAHA troll

'As you can see I never hung around the cast of "Laguna Beach"...'

Hahaha this threw me off. I lolled.
