Since these are the only institutions I can transfer to because they don’t have a cap on 4 year + CC units combined, I’d like to know if anyone is familiar with the transition from CSU to UC. I feel like if I go through this process I will probably write up a guide on how to do it…I haven’t really found anything on it. Anyways, I wasn’t too happy with my school of choice, but I have to attend this college because my parents got a 12 month lease on an apartment.

You ever get that bad vibe at a college? I felt like everyone I was surrounded with in my major were idiots and way too obnoxious before I even knew they were in my major.

In addition to these schools, I was thinking about applying to one in the neighborhood (one of the Claremont colleges). Specifically Pitzer. I recently took an SAT practice test (because these privates require SAT scores, recommendations, etc.) and my projected score is in the 2200’s (1590/1600). I’ve been preparing for this test off and on (for two years since I last took it) because the out of state privates I applied to for F12 required my SAT scores, but I didn’t retake the one I did last time because it was good enough I guess. But I might just stick with the UC applications.

My CC GPA isn’t that great however because I didn’t “grow up” (also had illness for two years/3 years as well) until my last year at my CC. It’ll be a 3.1. I understand the difficulty of transferring from CSU to UC, but I would appreciate some guidance if possible. I already posted about this in various forums (but not this exact post), but I haven’t had any responses. Cost isn’t really an issue.
