UCLA Alumni Assn Scholarship

<p>My son was asked by the Alumni Assn to apply for its scholarship program, but he hasn’t received a letter of acceptance to UCLA yet. Does this invitation to apply for the scholarship mean that my son has been accepted to UCLA? </p>

<p>Unfortunately, I don’t think that notification has anything to do with the student’s acceptance. Had the student received an invitation to apply for the “Regents” scholarship, however, that would be different.</p>

<p>No. Alll applicants are invited to apply for the Alumni scholarship. However, if your S is invited to apply for a Regent’s scholarship, then, yes, he’s in.</p>
