I want to go to film school! UCLA only accepts junior-level applicants for their film school. (also applying to USC, Chapman, and LMU)
I’m applying to UCLA as an English major, in case I end up going there and would be applying for one of the 15 in-school spots for junior-year.
My personal statement part one is all about how preparing for college for me is preparing to study film. Since I can’t actually apply for film yet, is this still an acceptable emphasis for this part of the essay? Would it be bad to make that part the extended essay?

I hate their stewpod film policy. They were my first choice up until last year when I realized USC was just less risky because if you get in you’re in as a freshman. But I’m still applying anyway.

Any thoughts?
