I received a UCLA supplement and answered it in a sort of rushed manner. I plan to appeal the admissions decision to reject me, and as such was wondering if I have a higher chance knowing that I received a supplement and was a borderline applicant at the time of review?

Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you.

so let me get this straight –

UCLA threw you a lifeline in the Supplemental. Admissions was willing to take the extra time to look more deeply into your classwork, extra curriculars, and anything else about you that might cause them to shift you from the MAYBE category into the ADMITTED category. They gave you ten days to reply.

And you “SORT OF RUSHED IT”? You blew your ONE opportunity to highlight your strengths?

Epic Fail on your part. UCLA is not for Epic Failures.

I’d conclude you’re an idiot and leave it at that. Become an un-idiot and an un-failure and move on… or go to USC. Nobody gets three chances, and few get the two you already got.
