@Chanel Me too… Do you think theres a chance that UCLA accept 2 students from the same school? Because I have a friend applying too!
@Chanel Also, do you think our UC application essays matter? Or does the portfolio essay matters more?
@iamstillcurious I don’t think it matters what school you’re applying from so they would most likely accept 2 students from the same school if both portfolios are good. I was told that your portfolio essay is looked at more but the art department does have access to the UC essays. I have no idea if they even check the UC essays. An admission officer told me that they read the supplemental essay as they’re looking through your portfolio and they decide if you’re in based on that.

@iamstillcurious yeah I’m pretty sure. In the past it has always been released at 5pm on a Wednesday around March 20 ish.
