UCLA Bar - for those questions that take less than 5 posts to answer...

You can’t keep your math final. Just wait until your professor responds back and you will be able to look over it.

Which two classes should I choose for my first pass: Life Sci 2, Stats 13, or Chem30A? Darn 13-unit limit

Does it really matter if you have priority?

On a similar note though, does anyone know how quickly upper division Philosophy classes fill up?

Stats and LS are 5.0 units each… I would think LS and Stats would go fast considering the premed population. O-Chem seems to have a reputation as super easy, or ultra-hell (more common), so I would think less people would sign up for it, at least, I’m praying for that. xD

There is no way Chem 30A is going to fill after the first pass with 350 spots.

The registration for the summer sessions began on Feb.1. I registered 2 math classes for session A. Now I want to register for math courses that only list in session C, but it wouldnt let me too due to time conflicts with the 2 math course in session A. So how do I register for session C? wait until session A finish?

I know that overnight guests are only allowed to stay for 4 nights per month.
But… does this apply for students that already live on campus.
I.e., could a friend sleep over all the time, if he/she has a room in the dorms, already?
(My friend is having an issue with this)

this place has become a ghost town. what ever happened to mme-lin, mr. pink, the annoying liyana, arrogant citan?

all that remains is madeinchina and boelterhall… T_T

They all graduated?

How are WritingII classes in the summer like? Anyone here have experience/suggestions?

Has anyone taken classes taught by BOGNAR, K.I. or MCWHORTER, A.L? This would be for Econ 41 and MCD Bio 50. I am pretty weary of signing up for two professors not on BruinWalk.

Thanks for any help!

How would a schedule with

Chem30A
Physics 6A
LS1

be for Spring quarter? (If you’ve taken these classes, I’d appreciate your feedback a lot)

There hasn’t been too many “interesting/controversial topics” on CC lately. as there were in the past.
Back then there were moldau, dawritingmachine, namaste as well … and even further back flopsy, allie, KFC, etc. Yeah once you graduate
CC becomes less relevant I guess…

Does anyone know if the text for Litt 1a next quarter will be Libby’s Principles of Acct?

Also, for anyone who has taken the class, do you really need the annual report or not?

One more, has anyone bought this book as an international version (or any book as an international version for that matter)?

Does anyone happen to know if WG Young CS50 has wireless internet?

It does, but you have to install VPN for it. On my iPod Touch, I had to install something from BOL to use the ChemWLAN. On good days, if I sat in the back row, I could get UCLAWLAN and just use my BOLID and password.

For LS2 Lec 1, this new item showed up on the textbook list:

“Turning Point
Response Card Rf Lcd Clicker (Item# Rfc-03)”

And it’s a non-book item. Is it at the UCLA bookstore? If not, how would I get it?

it’s a clicker (think game show buzzer), it’ll be at the bookstore, try to buy one used, way cheaper.

does anyone know if there’s a list like that for humanities/social sci (more northcampus like)? that lot’s interesting, but i’d like to see what the other half of this school offers…

I happened to look at the ECP page on myUCLA, and it says this:

Doesn’t that mean it should be up already?
