Why would you assume that? Whenever I needed certain clothes pressed, I borrowed an iron & a mini ironing board from my RA.

If I remember correctly, they don’t really look at that if you choose the pick up option. I put my address anyway, just for the sake of having something there.

It’s all done on URSA. If you’re put on a waitlist though, you then go to the professor or a TA for a Permission to Enroll (PTE) number.

i’ll be staying in a double at delta terrace. how big are the closets?

Luxurious next to those of the halls. You’ll have plenty of room for clothes and more.

Kinda late for the subject, but how are we refunded for Den tickets? I remember ordering them, but don’t remember putting in any CC info, and I never got an email about receiving either the Blue/Gold package.

then i dont think u got the package. if you did, you’ll receive a email and it will be on the bar account not your CC.

Since my question seems to have been lost on the last page, let me reprint it here. Help please:

“If we order books through the bookstore, we pick them up before classes start, right? So why does the site ask for shipping address?”

i think you can have them shipped OR pick them up at the store. i decided to have mine shipped so i can read them at home :]. i’m not a nerd, i swear! all my friends left!

salty, pink already answered that ;)

salty, see the top of this page.

muffin, you’re not going to touch them anyway. AND you’ll have to lug them to the dorms.

Oh! Thanks much!

so i was reading how buying textbooks overseas is cheaping…
can someone please give me addresses for these websites?
tnx

i normally never buy textbooks overseas because shipping may be expensive (if ordering).

however i do usually buy international editions of books (content is usually the same and they’re printed in black&white).

BIGWORDS.com
DealOz.com

those are some big referral sites that find you cheap textbooks from all over the world.

bring up my thread

My textbooks are still not listed for Italian 46. Is it safe to assume that I don’t have any for that class?

^

you’ll find out on the first day of class.

So, what’s up with bruinwalk? Every time I go on the site, my browser says there’s something wrong with its “security certificate.”

Also, I don’t think my messages to textbook sellers is working on that site…

That always pops up for me, I just bypass it. Whatevs.

On the UCLA Recreation website, it says that the John Wooden Center is opened only from 5:30am-10:45am (Mondy to Thursday). Is that really true? Cause I was planning on working out in the afternoon after all my classes… bummer.

Oh, I also heard that there are a couple of swimming pools around the campus. Do they have specific hours of operation too? Thanks.

No… context? Perhaps a typo?

Naw. Mon-Thurs it closes at like 12:30 or 12:45. I forgot.
