No. I meant De Neve as in the group of buildings. Delta Terrace is above STC. Go across the court to Covel for free printing.

qipao – I have been in quite the similar situations.

Mainly, it depends on what caused you two to break up in the first place. If it’s a “deal breaker” (cheating, lack of compatibility, etc.) for either one of you that caused it, then forget the relationship and move on. If however, it’s an obstacle that can be fixed (such as, say distance) then obviously work towards solving the situation. However, if you guys broke up because one party was not fully interested in the other then do not waste on the relationship. Find someone who will fully appreciate you and who is willing maul bears and battle sharks to be with you.

As for your question about when to give up hope: give up hope when that hope starts to hurt and destroy you. I say this from experience. It’s not worth it, and it’s not worth waiting if it means you’re waiting in pain (or even waiting and bypassing opportunities to get with someone better). Eventually the waiting will make you resentful towards the boy in question and will ruin your ability to have a healthy relationship with him.

Typically, it is best to cut all contact with someone for a couple of months and get over them. Then, afterwards, once you’ve “reset” your feelings, you can start talking to them again and become friends once more. This way, if things do change, you still have him in your life without the pain of hoping that he’ll change his mind. And if it was meant to be, I assure you the feelings will come back just as strong as before. Best of luck.

Free printing at Covel? I believe you only get like $5.00 worth of that for people who live on the hill, since they probably charged you in your housing for it anyways. HAHA.

What is the closest Target/Wal-Mart type store from UCLA, and how can I get there easily?

none go to ralphs and rite aid in westwood

I have some quick questions
- How do I know if my bank account is linked to UCLA via BruinDirect?
- I applied for my Stafford loans through Wells Fargo, but I have a Bank of America bank account…is this ok?
- How do I access my housing info like my roommates names and phone #s, my move-in date, etc. I looked at MyHousing but I couldn’t find it.

Can’t answer 1 and 2, but https://secure2.ha.ucla.edu/myhousing/movein/index.cfm

Call FAO and find out.

Do they send out confirmation of BruinDirect apps? Cause I sent mine in many weeks ago but never heard back.

How hard is it to find a job on campus if one was not offered work study… and where can you find the regular job listings (not fed. work study)?

I hate this place. Should have kept the original plan.

No definitely not - some places are lame and only take work study students (like the Ashe center :(), but most will take any student. Just think about where you might like to work and go ask for an application.

Can anyone recommend an affordable dry cleaners around in the area?

And how people would normally keep their clothing iron/pressed? I obviously use an iron, however I’m going to assume the use of one is forbidden.

If we order books through the bookstore, we pick them up before classes start, right? So why does the site ask for shipping address?

sorry if this question has already been posted, but i didn’t find anything in my quick search.
Is it still possible to switch classes or switch your schedule around? If so, do you just do it yourself on ursa or are there other steps you have to go through?
