direct downloads are safe, and they catch you buy monitoring your uploads. therefore, if you turn off uploading in limewire, shouldnt it be perfectly safe? and theoretically if you could disable uploading in bittorrent, wouldnt that be safe too?

any more input on this?

I asked this before somewhere else, but want to make sure again.

In a RT double, both “sides” of the room should be the same, right? No need to get there first to get the better side?

I would recommend what SFV stated:

“I would avoid using bit torrent on university owned internet.”

I don’t think the benefit is quite worth the cost in this situation - it’s best to avoid the risk. =/

can anyone help me plz…

so i talked to the financial aid office and they said that my money wont be available until later…that’s if i get approved for the parent loan (im out of state)…

the last day to pay is sep 19 but i wont be able to do it, when is the next day that i can register if my classes are dropped and when will i pay for the new classes i choose…

Lets talk about cheese. My favorite cheese by itself is Brie. In sandwiches and what not though, I’d have to say my favorite is spicy jack.

Is megaupload safe?

I have some spreadable Brie in the fridge. Is there any way to put it on a steak or something? Like swiss?

Yes.

Spreadable Brie? I guess you can spread it since it is soft. LOL. Slice it and layer it on top. Not sure if the rind would melt into oogey googey goodness though, chop it off if you wanna be sure.

Mmm take a whole mini wheel of brie and just toast that thing until it gets nice and super soft and delicious and dip random stuff and body parts into it!

“I would avoid using bit torrent [for popular movies/tv shows/albums] on university owned internet.”

don’t depend too much on luck.

I like tacos.

Would it be better to buy a printer for my room or to go somewhere that does have a printer to print stuff out? (I think I saw a printing place around Covel Commons, and I’m assuming it’s not free.)

It’s 5c a page. Covel has free printing, as do Rieber and De Neve.

Life Sci has 300 pgs a qtr, if you’re taking an LS class.

Soc Sci in Public Policy bldg has 100 pgs a qtr, if you’re taking a soc sci class.

Franz has 100 pgs a qtr if you’re taking a psych class.

But if you’re not taking any of those, STC is the cheapest.

Is anyone here a statistics major? I’d like to talk to someone who is if possible :)

Hmm, I just realized I don’t know any stats majors.

I’m an applied math major; probably the closest you’ll get here.

Here’s a question - how do you get over someone when it’s been 2 months and you’re even more attached and you can’t see yourself with anyone else because it’s part na

^

was in a similar situation. eventually got over it and i’m happy i did. a lot of things happened in the past couple of months that would have never happened if i was still sulking/trying to get back with her.

talk to you more on facebook/aim.

So printing is free at Delta Terrace (since that’s on De Neve Dr), and it costs 5 cents at STC (Student Technology Center?)? Thank you.

Also, are the printers at UCLA often crowded with people? Or is that only during certain times?

So I’ve heard about people having to register their routers and gaming consoles at the STC. Will there be a fat line in the beginning of the year of people trying to do this?
