UCLA Bar - for those questions that take less than 5 posts to answer...

It was $1 for washing and $1 for drying, have the rates gone up?

Where can I buy tickets for the UCLA Cal football game? Also, does UCLA have charter buses for students?

At CTO of course!

That’s what I was thinking, but they don’t show them for sale @ [UCLA Bruins tickets, and team schedule. Official Ticketmaster site](<a href=“UCLA Bruins Football Tickets | 2024 College Tickets & Schedule | Ticketmaster”>UCLA Bruins Football Tickets | 2024 College Tickets & Schedule | Ticketmaster), it only has home games. Do I need to go to the CTO a week before gameday to buy them?

I was just wondering whether this address is accurate for sending scholarship information since the page that it is listed on has not been updated since 2002.

i sent my scholarship check to them and the financial office verified that they did indeed received it. so its safe.

Is there a deadline to drop summer classes through URSA ??

[FAQ-URSA faq](http://www.summer.ucla.edu/FAQ/faq.htm)

this tells me there is no deadline … yet i can not do it in URSA . what gives?

No there isn’t. Just do it before your final exam.

Ursa is not letting me do it.

A couple of things.

In RT, is laundry paid for by bruincard or quarters?

Also, SMB = Schoenberg Music??

How long does it take for books to come in from the UCLA store? I ordered mine last month and they still haven’t come in.

malishka, I thought you already graduated.

“Beginning the fifth week, all drops require a Student Update Form with the instructor’s signature certifying that the course work was not completed. The form must then be submitted to the Summer Sessions office in person. You may verify your program changes via URSA.”

RT takes bruincard

RT = Bruincard
Yes, it is Schoenberg

I believe you pick them up at UCLA bookstore

Malishka, aren’t you at a different school as well?

“I believe you pick them up at UCLA bookstore”

You can, but I picked the free shipping option. Has anyone received their books from the UCLA store yet? I ordered them over three weeks ago…

Just call them.

So all of my history books are backordered…what’s the likelihood I’ll get them before Sept. 17th, when they cancel the order if it hasn’t been filled (ordered them from ASUCLA)?

Also, is the entire class backordered, or just mine and random other people? Like will we still get reading and stuff if some people don’t have them?

It just depends!

As for reading - most people don’t do it anyway. Consider yourself at an advantage for even considering missing your readings…

Sometimes the books are on reserve at the library - you can do that for awhile until you get your books.

Yours,
Emmeline

Is bit torrent blocked or throttled in any way at UCLA? How much is internet usage monitored?

ilikesheep,

I would avoid using bit torrent on university owned internet.
