Wow! That’s very encouraging!

Premeds is close to 15%A, 30%B, 50%C, 5%Other.

Are Whole Foods, Ralphs, and the farmer’s market close to the campus? (I’m planning on either walking or taking the bus.) Thanks!

If you are living in the dorms and want a small snack, use a swipe or buy from Hilltop (assuming this is at night). If you want to buy more than a night’s worth of snacks, Whole Foods, CVS, and Ralphs are in Westwood. Ralphs is the closest, and Whole Foods and CVS are about the same distance from the dorms.

You can walk, or if you have good timing, you can take the bus back to Ackerman Turnaround.

If you need small supplies, Hilltop is more expensive but not worth the half hour or more roundtrip!

How difficult is it to get a copy editor position at The Daily Bruin? Is the job demanding?

Huh??? If you’re living on-campus, it shouldn’t take you a half hour to get to Hilltop and back.

I only have anecdotal evidence; my friend’s roommate tried for two quarters before she got in. She had her newspaper stuff shipped overnight too, it was like $50 and she still got rejected. And yeah, the job’s demanding. Copy stays the latest in the office.

when is the housing payment due?

“Your housing payment is due on the 1st of each month. Payments not RECEIVED in UCLA Housing Accounts Receivable Office by the 10th of the month are assessed a late fee of $25.00.”

Use the Ask Housing website for any housing related questions first. You may also want to check the contact e-mail address you gave to UCLA since I received a payment reminder telling me the same thing about a week ago.

What is the easiest way to go visit UC Irvine from UCLA (on weekends) without a car?

aw thx

How much does washing cost? I think I read a dollar? Do you pay for washer and get free dryer? How much should I put aside for laundry?

1.25 for normal wash, 1.50 supercycle. I think 1 or 1.25 for dryer.
