<p>When I applied, I could not find Pre-Law or ANY form of law as an option for undergrads. I love UCLA to death, but if it doesn’t have my major…what do I do?? Is there some other major that is close enough? Did I miss something? I’m currently registered under Pre-Poli Sci, but I’m going to switch this immediately…unless there’s no law-type thing I can switch it to. Help?</p>
<p>Law schools actually look down on pre-law. They want well rounded thinkers…stick with polisci, prepare for your LSAT, and join a pre-law club if you like to. Don’t let anything keep you from going to the college you really want to go to.</p>
<p>**** is there a curve in ls1 (halpin)? i need like a 298/300 to get an A without any curve at all otherwise i can miss 30 more points and get an A-. just wondering what i should expect…she says she isnt gonna curve if the average is gonna be 75+, but the average is WAY higher already (probably 80s)…even 1% would help me.</p>
<p>There really is such a thing as a “pre-law” major? I thought it was something people used like “pre-med”. No? Anyway, you can major in engineering for undergrad and apply to law school after. I know someone that is doing just that.</p>

<p>Are textbooks of the same edition but different publishing year the same?</p>
<p>I know different editions vary, but what about different years within the same edition? My econ book for next quarter requires the '09 2nd edition, but Amazon sells the '08 publication.</p>
