My BAR bill on URSA shows a fall education fee for just over two grand along with some other miscellaneous fees. Are these all the fees I’m going to have to pay for my tuition for fall quarter?

that’s pretty much it. only other things you need to pay for would be housing through the housing website and textbooks.

One more thing about BAR: waiving SHIP is just going through the website and checking some boxes, right? I don’t have to present any evidence of insurance to them.

Yes and No
They do audit sometimes, so if you’re “lucky” then you do have to show them evidence

hot asian girls?
make or break question.

This is coming from a straight asian girl, so I’m probably biased, but…
The asian girls I saw during orientation were NOT HOT at all. Most of the asian girls were the 12-year-old body ish ones with meh faces. But then again, I’ve seen some guys with yellow fever with pretty ugly asian girls throughout my lifetime, so I guess yellow fever infected guys can have really low standards haha. Just depends on your taste, I guess. The white girls at UCLA are really pretty though. Oh geeze, I must sound super lezbo right now haha.

^lol.

As I have said before, I was really disappointed with what I saw at my orientation. But since that was only like 10% of incoming freshmen, Im hoping that will change. I don’t think anyone that just went to orientation can have an accurate say on student body aesthetics just yet.

ZERO hot asian girls in south campus. i would say north campus has nice girls of all races, though. upperclassmen seem to be better looking in general as well.

^
there are some hot asian girls in south campus. it’s rare, but they definitely do exist.

are printers good for dorms? is better if we have one? and what other methods can we print paper on campus?

from what i saw in the south campus- NO goodlooking people

north campus- decent and good looking people

this is coming from a person who visits the campus all the time

1- Are printers necessary (or at least helpful)? I’m staying in Dykstra btw. Are there printers or a comp center nearby where I can do printing? Lots of minor details are appreciated (wait time, etc) :)

2 - Should I take a fiat lux? Current sched is chem 14A, GE Cluster 80A (Aging), and Hindi 1. The main reason I want to take it is decide whether I for sure want to go into medicine ( a couple of the fiat luxes I looked out seem to be able to answer that question). Any recommendations on the best fiat luxes?

Thanks!

well you might want to look at the schedule of classes: [Schedule of Classes Home Page](http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/schedule/) to make sure those fiat luxes are still open… I think a lot of the medical ones are closed already…

^ 1) It’s not necessary to bring a printer, but i think it would come in handy when you need it right away. There are comp centers on campus and everything, but just in case, i think you should bring one. I’m definitely bringing mine. You never know when you might have to print out something… and you might not want to go out at night to print.

We would probably have to put our printer on our desks, right? Ahhh that would take a lot of space.

^ yeah, where else can you put your printer? lol

^^ The floor, the bed (so long as u don’t move around too much), anywhere near a plug/extension. You’re a college student now, if you don’t want it on your desk, trust me, you’ll find a way.

printers are especially crucial if you procrastinate. also, some people put their printers below their desk or on their drawers/fridge/whatever.

Roommate info is up!!!

Hey, my parents are convinced that moving in on Friday will be a problem because traffic is such a bear on that day in LA. I’d personally like to move in on that day because, well, then I can away from my parents sooner. How is traffic to campus from LAX on Fridays?
