which UCLA library has novels that can be checked out like in a city library?

uclacee, this might be what you’re looking for: [Half.com / Books / Civilization in the West, to 1715](<a href=“Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles & More | eBay”>Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles & More | eBay)

^^ Do you mean like mainstream fiction novels? (Non-academic/“literary”)

Powell (College) Library has a Recent Fiction section and a modest selection of comics.

You could also [look up a book in the library catalog](<a href=“http://catalog.library.ucla.edu/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&PAGE=First"]look”>http://catalog.library.ucla.edu/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&PAGE=First) and go to whichever library it’s in.

maybe we’ll run into each other there

How much does it cost to make copies at the Student Technology Center (STC)? Black-and-white copies. They still do have copy machines we can use, right?

That’s not it, but thanks anyway. It doesn’t seem to be available anywhere online, so I’ll just get it from Ackerman.

Yes you may use the copy machines. There are 2-3 copy machines at STC. B&W copies acost $0.10 single sided and $0.15 doubled sided (they doubled prices this year-_-). It is now cheaper to scan pages at the Covel Lab and then print them out, if you have the time.

Anyone know how the housing lottery works for seniors? Do we just apply for the lottery then when we’re offered a slot, we just choose our room like we have the previous 3 years? Or do they offer us an open room and we don’t get to choose it?

Is it too late to cancel my housing contract for the winter quarter? I just found out that my parents really can’t afford to pay for it…

Anyone know if UCLA has any available fax machines for students to use?

Student Learning Center on the hill has fax machines that you pay for by the page, and so does the Ackerman post office.

How long does it take for fin aid money to get to your bank account through bruindirect ? it was supposed to be disbursed the 1st but i still dont see anything.

Idk myself, but someone in another thread that refunds would be issued starting on the 4th.

Can you see your January 2010 BAR statement on URSA?

what will happen if i get caught with a fake parking permit? will i have to pay a fine, will my car get towed, banned from parking ever again? im okay with the last consequence…

What do you mean a “Fake” parking permit? Anyway I’d not try it because they do go around from car to car checking to see if you have the correct permit for the right parking lot.
