I recently heard of a program for high school students to finish their credits and transfer into a community college in Santa Monica. Supposedly, if they get in to this program and keep a strong GPA, then in two years they are granted admission into UCLA. Does anyone know what this program is called?

It seems like the Bridge Program is for first time college students. It’s purpose is to help newly graduated high school students transition to the college environment.

This program is unrelated to the Transfer Alliance Program (TAP), which grants priority consideration to UCLA for transfer admission if SMC’s honors program is completed. Generally, however, students who complete honors programs at any community college are accepted into their major if a strong GPA is maintained (generally at least 3.2).
