UCLA Business Econ Transfer Help

Hello everyone, I am a freshman at a community college and currently in my first semester. I have a 4.0 right now and am doing well in my classes. I am in the business and economics club at my school and plan on running for a position as treasurer or activities coordinator next semester. I am in the process of running a small retail business and currently in the production phase of my product :). I plan on joining honors society next semester and would like to get a job or internship ASAP. I am doing all the pre-reqs and if all goes to plan by the spring before I transfer, they will all be done. I know it is early but I want to know if it looks as if I’m on the right track. Any comments, suggestions, anecdotes are helpful.

Thank you,
JDS

bump bump bump

You’re doing good. What else can you do? You have a plan, now just stick with it.

Very few people are going to get on here and praise you. Remember this is CC. Where 2350 SATs are “horrible” and getting a B in a class is the end of the world.

If you keep that 4.00 you are golden. You don’t even have to really do much else, as long as you don’t screw up your PS or miss pre-reqs. 4.00 > EC so no matter what you do, keep up that GPA.

I heard this from someone else so dun blame me if it’s wrong.

are 2350 sats bad to some on the forum? They must be ivy leaguers lol

Yeah I think it is going to be tough for me to keep a 4.0 in my honors courses but with proper time management and studying I know I can pull it off. It’s the political science and english classes that give me fits but at least I don’t have to do many of them.

Thanks for the responses and boost of confidence,
