UCLA CHANCE ME!!

SAT score of 1710
CR 650 MTH 550 WR 510

GPA unweighted: 3.8

Little over 20 hours of Community Service
Top 10% of my class and rank # 10
Not from a ethnically diverse school
Singer - Few jobs as a live entertainer and a understudy for local theater (For work experience)
Member of Phi Theta Kappa, and NSHSS

Need to calculate your UC GPA: <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Your SAT is very low for UCLA. You need around a 2100 to be competitive. Your GPA looks competitive.

UCLA: Reach

What do I do with my community college classes? Do I add the letter grade in with the rest of the High School grades? And thanks!

First question: can u afford $60k a year?

With scholarships, yes. I’ll have about 80k or student loans afterwards though.

I’d encourage you to apply to UofO and Oregon State as well. UCLA is a long shot and will be absurdly expensive. $80k in debt is a big burden for a young adult with a BS/BA.

Thanks. I get what you mean. I know I can get into U of O. All of my friends are urging me to try to get into UCLA
