Honestly really couldn’t give a shit if I got into UCLA. I already got into my dream school (UCSB). Although la would be pretty nice to expirence for four years. Good luck to all you nervous wrecks tomorrow.

Hi, everyone! I know this is kind of late to ask, but I never received a supplement from UCLA, which is really strange because my essay was about a disability. I did receive one from Berkeley and San Diego about my impairment, but I never got one from UCLA and it’s stressing me out. Does this mean I probably got rejected? That they didn’t even bother to look at the rest of my app after seeing my grades. :’(
The best norooz gift would be UCLA acceptance. #persiannewyear tomorrow :-SS
Hello everyone. I just made my account and looked for the most active/recent thread pertaining to this topic.
I applied to UCLA and Berkeley and, like many of you, am really eager about my chances/prospects. I typically do not go on here considering the fact that a lot of the people can be outright negative and arrogant. However, I trust that helpful people with grant their feedback and opinions. Thanks in advance!
Here are my “credentials”, if anyone can let me know if how good a candidate I am for admission to any one of the UC’s I mentioned, that would be great!
GPA (Unwieghted): 3.72
SAT: 2040 (Highest in a single sitting)
Subject Tests: Math Level 2 and Physics, did not break 700 in either.
All honors classes and 3 APs (my school is wierd on APs)
I attend what can be considered a “magnet” school.
I’m pretty well rounded as far as extracurriculars and everything else goes. I tried to make it as clear as possible that I am not a typical try-hard student, but an average, caring, and ambitious individual who cares about the common good and the health of everything.
I come from a somewhat minority background.
I attended a UCLA information session that I was invited to in my area (if that helps at all).
Overall, I think my application to the UC Schools isn’t stellar, but at the same time, solid. I’m hoping the admissions officers noticed that and will give me a chance. Would anyone else be kind enough to lend their opinions? Thank you very much and good luck to everyone else.
@CHAGGAR2345 your GPA and SAT are definitely a bit low, but not extraordinarily low. I’d say high match, low reach.

@brunalleschi I wrote about a disability as well and I never got a supp from UCSD, but I got one from both UCLA and Berk. did you get into SD? I’m just curious I’m sorry
Things start to get real after every hour or even minute (second?) that passes by. So far, I’ve gotten into all of the UCs I applied to. Hopefully it’s the same for both UCLA and UCB…

Anyway, I agree with your opinion, I wouldn’t consider myself a very strong candidate, but not a hopeless case either.

Hi, I never got any supplemental questionarres or anything like that. I don’t necessarily think we are at a disadvantage either.
Also, I only applied to UCLA and UC Berkeley, sorry.

I’m kinda glad to see everyone else is also on here freaking out about tomorrow’s admissions. I’m so anxious to just know that they have made the decision. It’s also frustrating they have made that decision for a while, but they just haven’t released it yet!!
