@mlegoldstein I think you meant to tag me? If not then this is embarrassing lol. But yes I did get into UCSD and I feel like my supplement might have helped a little (I added a bit of humor into it).

@brunalleschi no, I got waitlisted at SD which I think is super weird! Usually they automatically send out supps to everyone who mentions a disability so I was really confused as to why I didn’t get one

Oh and I got into SB without a supplement, but after doing research on that it turns out they don’t send out supplements regardless of the circumstance.
@brunalleschi that makes me so mad! if they send it to one person who mentions a disability then they need to send it to everyone, to get the whole back story! I am in-state, I live in a suburb right outside of LA lol

After getting into Irvine today, not even UCLA can bring me down with a rejection tomorrow. This has been a stress filled week checking that stupid portal day in and day out, and to get my decision from UCLA after logging in for the first time in forever, I’ll be happy no matter what because I got the answer in a timely manner.
Have you guys heard about URM’s receiving early acceptance calls? Someone at my school claimed that he was accepted to UCLA and got a call early.

@NorCal408 Oh I see. I wonder if that applies to me. I indicted on my application that I was African-American, though not black, just from Africa. And I also talked about my origins in one of the personal statements.
