@muhnigmofo i believe UCLA does not consider second choice if applying to engineering…(http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/faq/FR_During.htm scroll down a bit and you will see it. But it doesn’t matter because you’ll be accepted! Good luck!

did a lot of URMs get calls from UCLA? getting worried
Guys, my college counselor texted one of the UCLA admissions officers today, and she told him that they just say evening and don’t specify a time. She said they usually come out around 5, but they give themselves flexibility.
From Sacramento, California. Hoping but I’m not the most qualified.
So are URMs receiving phone calls?
@collegeswag1997 I personally haven’t heard of any that got a phone call from UCLA. I’m a URM and got a call from San Diego but not LA
@uclabound1 same situation. @kollegekid7 do you know any URM who received a phone call from LA?
Hey Guys, I’m all the way from Karachi, Pakistan! UCLA is definitely one of my top choices barring Cal and a few ivies!
I’ve applied for engineering and getting that Engineering Open House invite( supposedly a likely letter) definitely has me optimistic for tonight!

I’m so scared for tonight. I’ve been waiting four years for this moment and it’s so surreal that it’s gonna happen in less than 24 hours. It’s so exciting yet terrifying. Even knowing I’ve done my best worries me. I’m mostly scared because my mom wants to force me into Irvine and if I go there then I’ll have to live with my aunts who I dislike! So LA is my last chance at freedom.
