ONE MORE DAY!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!
Gee, barely scraped through my Math HL Vector calculus test… which is not what i usually get lol UCLA, be good to me, please!

Since the admissions deadline is just around the corner (Nov 30 for those who don’t know), I decided to start a new thread for all things UCLA related. Questions, comments, concerns, and of course final decisions in March. Feel free to post, no judgment here!

If the decisions are released @ 5 pm LA time, about 16 hours left! Catch your breath and hope for the best.
Best of luck to y’all. May we all meet each other as proud Bruins @ class of 2019!
Thanks
@eo2019 @CHAGGAR2345 Heyy fellow west african here! i’m from Ivory Coast and US, good luck to y’all!
.
@Digitallyshrewd what makes you think they’ll be released at 5? Jc
@mac9028 Apparently some people on in the admissions office said that they’d be out by five, and in previous years it’s been around five. It makes sense for them to be released around 5 PM PST, as UCB is releasing around the same time on the 26th. We think the decisions could be released anywhere from 3 PM to 5 PM.
If you’re really bad with time and get mixed up with time zones, go to http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_US-CA.aspx?city=Los_Angeles to see the current time in LA and to convert it to your local time. ![]()
Why is this day going by super slow? :((
Like most of you guys here, I am extremely nervous… today’s the day! I’m OoS, so most of you guys probably have a better shot at me either way. Either way, it’s comforting to know that even if I get rejected, UCLA will be full of nice and kind people like yourselves. I wish everyone the best of chances! And remember, no matter what happens, everything has its reason, and you’ll all end up in the best place possible! Good luck to all!
@UCalBound Don’t fret, us OOSers aren’t completely hopeless. While most of UCLA’s applicants and acceptances are in-state, the acceptance rate is much higher for OOS. Last year, the in-state acceptance rate was around a 16% while the OOS acceptance rate was around 26%. UCLA needs our money, so they tend to accept more OOS students in order to have some wiggle room with the budget.
School is going to be a pain today
Any other east coast OOS students who have to wait until 8:00…? The wait is absolutely torturous.
just let it go. dont worry guys, it will happen sooner or later.
So this is a crazy question but what will I need to check my decision status tonight? Just my UC App ID and password? I’ve managed to keep track of all my other app IDs and passwords and just realized that I don’t have it for UCLA. Ugh…
@bonniewalton I’m from NJ. The wait is intolerable!!
The portal is “currently unavailable” as UCLA prepares to release our decisions. Says to “check back here Friday night”. It’s 8:30am Eastern (5:30am Pacific) right now.
@96blue you need your last name, UC Application ID, date of birth, and the town/city you listed as your place of birth.
