Props to all of us for coming this far. The reality is that quite a few of us will be making our last posts on this site in the next hour or so. And that’s completely okay. The incessantly replayed mantra that “it’s the student who makes the college, not the college which makes the student” is entirely true. So even if the decision doesn’t turn out the way you’d hoped, stay strong in the knowledge that it will all turn out okay.
@ivyhopefulebound no, most people that don’t get in don’t get supplement. supplement are for borderline applicants / applicants that require more info. if you didn’t get it, that doesn’t affect your chances.
We’ve already been over this @BlueWizard97 - they have nothing to do with being borderline or not - simply requesting more information. Please see previous discussions - people, myself included, have flat out asked UCLA admissions officers and that was their answer.
@studycollege That said, his scores are stellar. So the odds would be in his favor. But depends on many factors including the major applied-to etc. Good luck!
My hands are shaking! UCLA’s been my dream school since elementary school. Haha. Good luck to all of you! Hope tonight brings good news for everyone. Where else have you guys applied/what were your decisions?
