UCLA CLASS OF 2021 APPLICANT THREAD

Thanks for the advice. It means a lot. Parents are pushing for UCLA, but I know I have to do what is best for me.

Haven’t received an email. How did you get your portal pin? For other colleges I received a portal upon receipt of application. I was admitted to Berkeley via the mail but never received an email. Same for UC Santa Barbara. I have also never received an email from ucla. Can someone share how this works for UC schools? Thx!

Waitlisted :frowning:

Nah, where else did you apply? Where did you get in?

I know how you feel…35 ACT and outstanding essays did nothing to make up for my gpa, though. Do keep in mind that a rejection at UCLA doesn’t warrant a rejection at UCB

4th rejection so far this month. Whew

Did you figure it out? Have same issue

@Sharob: For Transfers, UC’s disregard W’s but they are still reported. If your friend didn’t report the W’s and sends in the transcripts and it shows the discrepancies it could be an issue. Did your friend complete some CC classes? Do they plan to submit their college transcripts at all?

@tacimaci omg congrats! I applied International Studies too but haven’t checked. Did you take IB classes or got recognized by College Board?
