When they update the portal do they ever send you an email?
@pottjohn I think they will send you an email if you have been accepted but it seems like all those who got rejected just got an update on their portal. They didnāt get any email.

@pottjohn Yes they do, because the overwhelming majority of admits donāt log in every/multiple times a day.
guys, it may come out tomorrow. itās really unusual of UCLA to release decisions this late as the past few years itās always been around 5/9 or 5/14. letās hope!

Hi, I am a transfer student and I am now in the waiting stage to hear back from UCLA. My top choice as of now is Irvine which I am also excited about! Any advice on how to not stress too much? Quarantine makes these things so much worse lol. I wish you all luck but from what I have read it looks like all of you will be successful wherever your next step is! Hey, you said that youāre 100% certain that theyāre done with L&S, Iām an L&S applicant who appealed on April 13th and I still havenāt received my decision!

Waitlist, not appeal. Many appeal students (mix of majors) have not heard back yet

@alexchar25 If you heard back in the last week of April (4/30) and early weeks of May (5/1, 5/2 I think, and 5/7), those applicants were rejected. However, people have been saying no news is good news. Last year and the years before, appeal acceptances have always come out 5/9 or 5/14 mornings. This year with COVID-19, everything is so unpredictable. I am guessing they may come out this Friday or Saturday but expect to hear back by next week. In the past, there have also been people who heard back in June so not really sure how itās going to be like this year
