@clairebunny23 because more people are tending to stay in state for college. So the people whp were either waitlisted and are outside of state or those who got rejected and were outside of state and decided to appeal will tend to choose a school in their own state. Therefore, this opens up more spots to waitlist and appeal applicants!
Oh apparently UC Davis started pulling people off the waitlist which could mean that UCLA waitlist and appeal decisions may come out earlier than expected!
anyone still getting antsy about waiting? does anyone think appeals may come out before May 1st? In previous years, some came out before May 1st. I am not entirely sure what was the end result of those decisions?
@kook2323 last year only rejections were released before May 1st. Around April 20th, ppl got denied last year. I’m taking no news as good news.

yes appeals were denied early last year.
Does anyone know when they said decisions will be out? My younger sister would really love to attend but was unfortunately rejected 
My brother and I both went to UCLA (I’m a third year there now) and we’ve been hyping her up to attend and we were shocked at the results. Her top choice rn is UC Berkeley but I always thought she’d fit better at UCLA lol
@Dreamingtobeout hi! tell your sister not to worry! they might come out earlier than expected due to COVID. Also, last year an appeal rejection came out on April 30th but who knows? This year there may be acceptances as UCLA needs more people

@UCLAParent123 I got a pm from someone on Reddit whose appeal got denied. He just checked his portal and there it was. No email. In state. I have no change to mine.

Nothing yet. Looks like some rejects are out??? I submitted my appeal on 4/9/20.
Again. No news is good news. They always release rejections first. I’m praying we all get in
