I have a question…would they have rejected all appeals they felt that didn’t need a reversal of decision today? Or…?
I searched it up and it looks kinda sus. UCLA waitlist continues a lot longer than May 8th. Last year people were getting in late June.
@UCLAParent123 i agree, i looked up many past threads and some acceptances came out May 14th
@samkr14 yeah they probably rejected the ones they knew they wouldn’t accept at all (prob cuz no new/compelling evidence)
@bryanngocpham last year they sent out rejections in waves for appeals. But I am assuming they do that based on space/availability of spots
I don’t think they would’ve been able to reject every single appeal by today, may 1st is just an estimate of when they could get back to you after all.
Hmm. Sent in Appeal April 12th, in-state, and haven’t heard back yet. i hope no news is good news lol…idk tho. Good luck to everyone!!!
Check your portals. Apparently no emails are being sent, there is just a letter in the portal.

@samkr14 no. But I know someone who did yesterday, and he still has not gotten any email as of this morning. He just checked his portal and the rejection was there.
Any chance there will appeal decisions sent out today?
I have no change either, also it’ll probably be after today since everyone’s officially committing. Anyways what college are you guys gonna commit to as of now? I’m going to UCR!!
In state waitlist decisions are slowly coming out…I hope appeals as well come out too today.
In the past they release acceptances on a Saturday morning… It could be tomorrow
@UCLAParent123 they release decisions on a weekend? I thought it was always in the weekdays?
@samkr14 in the past the acceptances were released on a very early Saturday morning. Weird, I know.
