That was probably me… but I haven’t 100% decided to commit to UCLA. Already committed to UCSD for chemistry as of today.

Just curious, what made you prefer UCSD over UCLA?

I’m 50/50 at this point and may not decide until this weekend (deadline is 5/13).
UCSD seems better for STEM (chemistry) grad school bound kids and has more undergrad research opportunities.
UCLA has the huge advantage of 4-years on-campus housing assured, while UCSD you’re practically forced into off-campus apartments after 2 years.
UCLA also much better national name branding, so that’s weighing in to my decision.
I’m glad to have two great choices this late!

Last year appeal decisions came out in June.

just based off of last years again😭, the first big L&S drop was on the 21st where as this year it was the 6th, and last years drop after that was the 25th so i’m anticipating that the next drop will be this saturday the 10th
this is all just speculation but i aligned the dates to compensate for the difference in SIR dates
